The nearest beaches to The Lemon Tree apartments are located in Giardini Naxos. A 10 minute drive takes you to the beginning of this 3km stretch of mixed eclectic beauty.
Choose from sandy, pebbly, private or free beaches or alternatively take a stroll along the fishing port with a traditional Italian ice cream. With many restaurants and bars to choose from you can sample the local specialities.
Taormina has two main beaches Isola Bella and Mazzaro. Both can be reached via a 4 minute cable car journey from the centre of Taormina or alternatively you can park in one of the available car parks close by.
Mazzaro
The beautiful bay of Mazzaro offers something for everyone, Boat excursions, watersports, rock diving or just general sunbathing and relaxation. Great private lido’s offering local delicacies and a chilled relaxed ambience is offered all round.
Isola Bella
This UNESCO listed reserve is world renowned, take the 175 steps down and immerse yourself in the scenery that is on offer, with a choice of private lido’s or free beaches this quirky beauty spot is worth the steps.
