Castelmola
Castelmola is without doubt the most romantic location in Sicily. Set high above Taormina this beautiful medieval town provides a venue fit for a film set. Walk the cobbled streets, find the hidden piazza’s and discover the many treasures that create the beautiful Sicilian culture. The views from all around Castelmola are truly breathtaking, you can take in the coastline of Italy, the Ionian sea, Mount Etna, the Greek theatre and look down on Taormina.
Eolian Islands
Take a day trip to one of these charming islands, stroll around hip Lipari or Panarea, take a rejuvenating mud bath in Vulcano or sit on a fine lava black sandy beach in Stromboli.
Gorge of Alcantara
Discover the natural beauty of the Alcantara Valley, a 30 minute panoramic drive will take you to this stunning gorge running through one of Etnas ancient eruptions. Hire waders take the stairs or the lift and independently explore this natural wonder. Alternatively we can assist you in organising various daily trekking or canyoning tours available. For the extreme, quad bikes and body canoeing are also on the menu.
Mount Etna
The largest most active volcano in Europe should not be missed, 3350m / 12730 feet and noted for its wide variety of eruption styles makes it one of Sicily’s greatest natural attractions. Etna offers skiing in the winter months and breathtaking excursions in the summer.
Syracuse
This eclectic cultured city is a great sightseeing experience: Visit the immense Greek ampi-theatre and the archaelogical site of Neapolis, Piazza del Duomo with its Baroque style planning or just stroll the streets of Syracuse’s island heart Ortigia.
Godfather Village
Savoca nominated city of art was instrumental in key scenes of the renowned trilogy, great hilltop town to walk the cobbled streets and maybe grab a lemon granita at the Vitelli Bar synonimous with key scenes. Forza D’agro: Traditional hilltop village with breathtaking views and fine restaurants. Visit the famous holy trinity chuch, one of many the town has to offer.
Valley of the Temples
Unesco listed archaelogical site, eight temples built in BC times. The Concordia is said to be one of the most well preserved currently in the world.
